Containers

20-Foot

NexGen manufactures a variety of standard 20′ ISO intermodal containers in our certified South Carolina USA production facility. These durable, CSC-certified steel containers are used for both storage and dry cargo shipping by military and commercial users.
The US military and allies use the 8′ high variants of these containers which they refer to as Milvans or Conex boxes, extensively. Our primary product offerings include 4 variations, two 8’ high variants and two 8’6” high variants. In addition to the standard container types, NexGen offers additional configurations including side opening, full side opening, double-end doors, high-cube, recessed end wall, and other custom platforms.

Bicons

NexGen’s Bicon containers are compatible with other 1C certified Bicons and Quadcon II’s, allowing custom configurations of Bicon and Quadcon II’s to be shipped coupled together as 20-foot equivalent units (TEUs). Standard Bicons are available in both single-end and double-end opening configurations.

The Bicon has long been available in the commercial markets as a standard modular container. Now, when combined with new container designs like the Quadcon II, the Bicon offers new options for dry cargos and integrated systems. Intended for use as a transport or storage unit, the Bicon offers a range of options for on-site storage, mobile part and supply stores, and equipment and systems integration. NexGen Bicons are available in all standard military paint colors in either CARC or commercial paint finishes.

Tricons

NexGen’s Tricon containers are configured so three units can be secured together using standard twistlock couplers resulting in the same footprint and mobility as a 20′ ISO intermodal container. Tricon containers are available in five different door configurations for increased application flexibility.

The Tricon modular container is used extensively by the United States Armed forces for its unique and versatile deployability. Moving a fully loaded 20-foot container requires special material handling equipment. Tricons can be moved individually using more readily available equipment or when coupled together can be handled like any other 20-foot container. In a Tricon, the item you need is never more than 4 feet from the door. In a standard 20-foot container the part you need may be behind up to 10 feet of other items. Intended for use as a transport/storage unit, the Tricon offers a wide range of options for storage, equipment integrations, specialized security containers, and office modules. The Tricon’s all-steel construction and unique versatility make this an ideal new option for military and commercial logistics challenges.
NexGen Tricons are available in all standard military paint colors in either CARC or commercial paint finishes.

Quadcons

NexGen Quadcon containers are configured so four units may be secured together using standard couplers resulting in the same footprint and mobility as a 20′ equivalent unit (TEU) ISO intermodal container. Available in both the original 6’10” height and the newer 8’ height these versatile containers are ideal for use in both land based and shipboard applications. Their smaller size allows the handling of individual units with smaller, more available material handling equipment (MHE) while their ability to be coupled allows them to be handled quickly when standard MHE is available. Double-door access offers a wide range of options for on-site storage, mobile lockers, capital equipment housing, and more. Also available are specialized configurations with roll up doors for use where there is insufficient space for the swinging doors.
NexGen Quadcons are available in all standard military paint colors in either CARC or commercial paint finishes and can be equipped with storage cabinets and shelves for a truly customized solution.
